This section of the FindMonica Foundation web site is where all of our Missing Persons and Abducted Children, and other cases are placed. All late breaking news on these cases will be placed here also as we get it. It is our goal to help other sites in getting these individuals names out there in the public eye as much as possible. The information in this section of the site has been provided by individuals, through the Texas Department of Public Safety and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Adults.

A Petition for an Adult Alert System
This is something the FindMonica Foundation feels strongly about. Please take a few minutes to sign the petition and send it to all your friends.
The Petition
To: Lawmakers, Law Enforcement Officials, and the Media
"We, the undersigned, believe the time has come for the development and implementation of an adult emergency alert system designed to resemble the Amber Alert already in place for missing children. We realize that most adults (age 18 and over) are legally capable of making sound decisions in their best interest (with the exception of those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease & some affected by mental illness), however we cannot ignore the fact that crimes resulting in the kidnapping or disappearance of adults occur every day. Yet it is most unfortunate that adults reported missing are in most cases not officially declared as such for 48 hours, by which time crucial search hours are forever lost, making safe recovery less likely. Through the creation of a system, which would alert the public to information regarding a missing adult sooner, we could increase the chances for a positive outcome, by reducing the number of hours lost in the first 48 hours.
While criteria for an adult alert system are yet to be determined, for the sake of families & victims such as Alice Donovan of Galivants Ferry, S.C., abducted from a Wal-Mart parking lot by two prison escapees on the afternoon of November 14th, 2002, we ask that you, our lawmakers, law enforcement and media, consider this issue as one of highest priority."

H.R. 4162 The Audrey Nerenberg Act

Amendment for The Missing Children's Assistance Act of 1974
"The Audrey Nerenberg Act" H.R. 4162
I agree and support Act 4162 by way of this petition presented before me, by the CUE Center for Missing Persons and Milton Nerenberg, the father of Audrey Nerenberg; who is still missing. I agree that this law would aid in the search and recovery of missing adult person(s) that have been certified with a mental capacity of a child, to include children under the age of 18 years old. I understand this law would offer national organizations, media outlets and law enforcement alike to service these individuals as children and in some circumstances would qualify for the Amber Alert.
I understand this petition will be used for it's intended purpose only.

Alicia writes "We're going on 7 months now with not a trace of my brother. Working with local authorities has offered no help at all. I have contacted Govenor Perry who has contacted the Dept of Public Safety on my brother's case. I'm still waiting to hear from them. My brother was a felon, he did his time, got out and now can't be found. He expressed to an attorney there was a hit on him, this was back in January. Now we can't find him. I fear he his either being held captive or dead. I need more help, more answers.. just like all of you. Please offer any guidance in finding a missing person. Thanks."

FindCarrie writes "In the early morning hours of Dec. 6, 2004, a man entered the apartment Johnia Berry shared with another young man. He began stabbing the male roommate first. The roommate would escape the attack and run to a nearby store to call for help. By the time authorities arrived to the residence, Johnia had died from her wounds. Below is a picture of Johnia and the suspect in her case.

Her mother is worried for her safety because it's unlike her to "take off" for such a long time without notice. She lives at home with her mom so they saw each other all the time and have a good relationship. I have access to her e-mail and messenger account and can see whether she'd logged in or checked her email and she hasn't. Lilburn police say they found signs of foul play inside a woman's apartment who has been missing for several days. They went to the home after 40-year-old Leslie Adams’ family called police on Monday.
Roberta Adams spoke to her sister Leslie Thursday by telephone. Leslie told Roberta that she would see her the next night at Roberta’s birthday party. But Leslie never showed up.
“I just want to say that I hope my sister’s alive. I want to find her,” Roberta said.
Late Monday afternoon, Lilburn police say that they made a welfare check at Leslie’s apartment. Her car was parked outside her apartment, but she was not home. Police say they went inside and found something that made them call Gwinnett County’s Crime Scene Investigation unit.
“We did find some tings that led s to believe that it’s possible something might have happened on the inside in the way of foul play, so based on that information, we went ahead and processed it as such,” said Sgt. Tyler Thomas of the Lilburn Police Dept.
Roberta says that Leslie has only lived in the apartment a couple of months. But in that time, Lilburn police say they have been to the apartment before, but would only characterize the incidents as minor.
Gwinnett and Lilburn investigators say they don’t want to presume that another person is involved at this point. Neither does Leslie’s sister.
“Leslie, if you're out there and you see me, please contact me. I miss you and I love you,” said Roberta.
Police say they are treating the case as a suspicious missing persons’ case. They are asking anyone who might know where Leslie Adams is to call Gwinnett County Police at 770-513-5300.

Ocilla, Georgia -- On October 24, 2005 at 8:50AM, the Ocilla Police Department responded to a missing person report made by neighbors and coworkers at the Irwin County High School.
They were concerned because Tara Grinstead did not show up for work and they were unable to make contact with her.
The last known contact was on 10/22/2005 at approximately 11:00 p.m.
There is no known description of her clothing. Her car is parked in the driveway of her residence. Her house was locked and the only items that appear to be missing are her purse and keys.
