Six Month Report
Through the efforts of the Board of Directors, volunteers and the community the FindMonica Foundation has progressed in the last six months. Since the Foundation's inception in February 2005 the Foundation has strived to live up to it's mission statement.
The Foundation currently has ten volunteers. These ten volunteers are responsible for different areas within the Foundation's task.
We do not seek out families. It is our belief that a family has a right to choose the organization they wish to assist them. We respect each and every family's privacy and support them when they come to us. We then provide them with information on our services on what we can do for them.
In the past six month the Foundation has given aid:
To six families in the way of a website, family support and search efforts.
Three separate organization's by way of website/design and/or hosting and assistance to families in which they support and serve.
We have contacted and provided information on our mission to over 200 law enforcement agencies in our area and other states.
We have:
Worked with Texas Governor Rick Perry in issuing a Proclamation recognizing May 25th as Texas Missing Children's Day to honor the National day as well.
Sponsored Pampa 's first National Missing Children's day,
Sponsored 33 children for self defense awareness training,
Assisted local law enforcement in bicycle safety and child identification programs,
Profiled 48 weekly missing persons on our website,
Profiled 14 monthly unsolved homicide cases on our website,
Profiled two monthly special request missing/unsolved missing persons on our website,
Entered over 600 missing persons into our database,
Attended two conferences,
Been invited to and attended one candlelight vigil.
It is our goal to continue in these efforts and more in future months and years.
